Description

"An extremely old bottle of 1893 vintage cognac from the house of E. Normandin. The house was founded in 1755, but merged with other Cognac houses in the mid 20th century to form GEMACO, which today is owned by Marie Brizard.

The period between around 1875 and 1895 delivered a portion of the best cognacs as distillers and basement experts' learning had built up a decent comprehension of their craft. Combined with this, there is still a sensible amount accessible to be target when tasting."

This bottle was purchased by the Grandfather of the seller about 50 years ago and passed on to my late father 30 years ago. It was recently passed on to me and although the liquid tastes amazing (we have had other bottles from the same case) I would prefer to sell it. It has been kept undisturbed in a very good quality Victorian cellar all this time and as you can see from the photograph, is in pristine condition.. "
