E. Pierrot de Saint-Jacques Cognac Napoleon Grande Fine Champagne Reserve 1802
Description
This is an "old friend" of a bottle, unfortunately they are not that uncommon and there are some crazy prices on the internet which are far too high.
1) Text on label:
Front Label (Mid-label):
COGNAC NAPOLEON
GRANDE FINE CHAMPAGNE
RESERVE 1802 . E. PIEROT DE SAINT-JACQUES.
Back Label (Mid-label):
CE produit provient de la province de
pagne(grande) Pierre Célestin. de la Maison
Saint Jacques. reserve 1802. était
officiel de l'Empereur Napoleon 1er
2) Visual elements:
Neck/Capsule: The neck is covered by a heavily encrusted, dark, textured sealing material, possibly wax or pitch, giving it a rough, organic appearance.
Bottle Body: The bottle itself is made of dark blue/cobalt glass, covered with a fine, grid-like network of string or wire mesh.
Upper Label (Front): A decorative emblem featuring a stylized rooster (or bird) on a shield or crest, holding a staff, flanked by scrolls or laurels. A decorative banner is beneath it.
Mid Label (Front): The main label is rectangular, light brown/tan, with a double-line decorative border.
Mid Label (Back): The back label is also rectangular, light brown/tan, with a simple border line.
Font Styles:
Front label: The main product name ("COGNAC NAPOLEON") and description ("GRANDE FINE CHAMPAGNE") are in a bold, decorative serif font. The smaller text ("RESERVE 1802...") is in a clear, smaller serif font.
Back label: The entire text is in a flowing cursive/script font, resembling old handwriting.
3) Fill level estimate:
well above shoulder into neck: solid
