Selling a unique Vintage Ferrand Cognac from 1965

You should be as excited as we are to discover this rare gem from the illustrious Maison Ferrand. This Pierre Ferrand 1965 Vintage Mémoire Cognac offers a unique glimpse into the fruits of one harvest alone. Harvested in 1965 from the Cognac region, it is made of grapes grown in the Grande Champagne area more than 55 years ago.

Their history in the region extends back over four centuries and ten generations, and this single cru Vintage was blended by the founder of Maison Ferrand himself, Alexandre Gabriel.

This collector's item Cognac was bottled in 1999, and distilled in the Grande Champagne where it was grown.

By means of production methods, it has remained largely artisanal. One can be assured that the methods of growing grapes and distillation have remained the same over many centuries.

Maison Ferrand is located in the 18th century Château de Bonbonnet in Ars, however, this collector's item has made its way all the way to its seller in the USA.

Presentation of the bottle

The bottle is new, unopened with a red wax seal. It also arrives in a matching red wooden presentation box.

The story of the bottle

There was a fundraising event at The Roosevelt Room in Austin, TX, during which the seller stumbled upon a Casino Night event. Whoever was the highest winner of the Casino night won a grand prize of special bottles of alcohol. This bottle was the most prized one.
