This bottle of Armagnac was a gift from my uncle to my mother. The grapes were harvested in 1942 in Gascony, France in Sept 1942. There is a letter from my uncle describing how the Germans tried to find all the the distilled alcohol to fuel torpedos, but this batch remained hidden. My uncle was a collector and purchased this in New York and took it to Hawaii to give it to my mom in 2002 for her 60th birthday. Today is her 82nd birthday and
