Story:

I was working as the Operations Manager for, the Moet Hennessy wholly owned prime distributor, Scheffelin & Co. in 1984 when a component tasting for Hennessy Paradis was held in Los Angeles. I was tasked with importing, by plane, several cases of Hennessy cognac that were specially bottled for the tasting which represented various vintages of cognac that were included in the Paradis product. All the leftover cognac from the tasting was shipped back to Hennessy in France following the tasting except for this unopened bottle of 1875 cognac which my boss, the Regional Vice President, gave to me for my efforts in the tasting event. This bottle is a one of a kind as far as I know.
