Small label near where neck meets the wide part of bottle reads as follows: BRAS ARMÉ. Between those two words is a symbol that ends with an arm, holding an old time hatchet much like the king of clubs holds in a deck of cards. The main label has the word HENNESSY written across the top. The big portion of the label has that same symbol on the top middle, but is attached to something it looks like vines going all the way around the perimeter and then in the middle of that circle it says on first line: JA.s HENNESSY & C.o second line: COGNAC. Then the bottom part of the label also has the 2 lines of words, first line is COGNAC , second line is 80 PROOF CAPACITÉ 94 CENT. 5

Story:

I am a realtor, and sold my cousin a house that was Turnkey, mean that all the contents came with it, and this bottle was in the liquor cabinet, and he gave it to me. It is a 1 quart bottle of Hennessy cognac with the word France etched on it and 1941 etched into the glass on the very bottom of the bottle up in the pocket or hole.
