This bottle was given to my mother in law as a gift from a casino in Atlantic City I think the year 2000. She passed away around 2010. Father in law has it now, he is 91 and would like to get it appraised and possibly sell. I did send pictures to a buyer and he was nervous about the seal and passed on it. This bottle has never been opened since it was given by the casino. I’d like to have this look at to see if it’s been tampered with and appraised

I purchased it at an estate sale for Mr. William R Newton who was the Chief of Staff for Robert Goizueta, Chairman and CEO of Coke. He was given the bottle in a box from the hotel embossed with his name and including two crsytal brandy snifters. The bottom of the bottle has some markings, but Im not sure what they are. Should I try to reach out to the hotel for more info? Should I take it to a wine shop to be weighed etc? I have no idea what something like this is worth other than what I saw on Christie’s auctioned in 2016. Please accept my gratitude for any assistance you can provide. Best, Melissa
