My father-in-law‘s great grandfather purchased cases of this cognac from the Hudsons Bay Company when they closed some of their trading posts here in Western Canada. There are a few bottles left that have been stored in their original crate with straw packing and parchment paper wrapped around them. He is curious to know what these may be worth so I told him I would find out. The original wood cases have only T Hine blazed in as the label. Attached is a picture of the bottle taken from its straw packing. I took no other pictures or disturbed anything other than sliding it out from its straw packing as I did not want to disturb anything more than I had to to get a picture. From all recollections these bottles are from 1865 to 1900.
