On the neck label stands 20 ANS The big label is actually a split label OTARD printed on the top part and on the bigger label is a badge that looks like a crown and the letters OC in a circle. Left and right from this badge is the date 1795 and above the bage is written Produce of France.Under this badge is the wording. COGNAC OTARD S.A. COGNAC. Under that large font is a small font writing GARANTI MIS EN BOUTEILLES AU. Under that in large font again is written CHATEAU DE COGNAC Under that is the last piece of the label with 3 full lines writing in French. Some wording is difficult to see because there is small code like holes in the paper. The code spells G2654. I took a photo of this code. It is punched upside down on the label, i took a photo from the back of the btl aswell, although it is now upside down and back to front. I will include a close up photo of this wording. On the back of the bottle the crown badge with the words OC is embossed in the glass aswell as the word OTARD. The O is n big and actually looks more like a number zero in stead of a capital letter O.

Story:

It was given to me as a gift sometime during the 1990's from somebody who might have acquired it in Spain in the 1960's. That is just speculation because i know he was there, although this btl looks much much older. There is no serial nr on date on the btl not even a alc %/ volume, neither a btl size. Some evaporation has occurred over the years. The btl weight is 0.470kg. i guess without any evaporation it would have weight 0.500kg
