There is a label around the neck, but I am not game to overhandle the paper covering. What can be read is: "LIQxxx" "Antiquorum Monachorum Benedictinorum" "ABBATIÆ FISCANENSIS" There is a slim silver/grey tab coming out from underneath this label. Embossed on the bottle lower neck above the label is a "horseshoe" shape, where the original red wax seal would have been. From the main round cream-coloured label: D.O.M <outline of a cross graphic> Le Directeur <"AL" in cursive> From the rectangular cream-coloured label: BÉNÉDICTINE Marques déposées en France et à l'Etranger 43g <possibly "Ale Grande aimé" in cursive with a calligraphy flourish underneath> To the right is a vertical rectangular label in black with white writing. Top: 23 7/8 FLUID OUNCES NETT. Bottom: PRODUCE OF FRANCE One the back, another horizontal rectangular label: La BÉNÉDICTINE Liqueur de l'Ancienne Abbaye de Fécamp est fabriquée par une Société Anonyme qui a son siéĝe Social et Industriel à Fécamp (FRANCE) La plus large ligature de plomb qui entoure le col des bouteilles doit porter les marques et inscriptions suivantes <star graphic> VÉRITABLE <cross graphic> BÉNÉDICTINE Le bouchon devra être marque tout autour: <star graphic> BÉNÉDICTINE <star graphic> Enfinale dessous du bouchon portera: D.O.M <cross graphic under the "O"> Embossed on the lower bottle neck at back: MARQUE DEPOSEE Embossed on the bottle shoulder at back: <cross graphic> BÉNÉDICTINE <cross graphic> The bottle has liquid contents to around 3/4 of the way up the horsehoe shape.
